5 signs your car needs a diagnostic

Warning lights that come and go, hard starts, unexplained battery drain, comfort-system glitches or uneven performance often point to an electronic fault. Even if the car still drives, an intermittent issue may eventually affect other systems.

The first clue often appears only under certain conditions: with a cold engine, after rain, while turning the steering wheel, when the air conditioning starts or after the car has been parked for hours. Recording when it happens helps greatly.

Professional diagnostics is not simply clearing fault codes. Live data, power supplies, grounds and communication networks must be checked, and the fault should be reproduced whenever possible.

An early diagnosis prevents unnecessary part replacement and much more expensive repairs. If you notice any of these signs, have the vehicle checked sooner rather than later.
